The storage units are solid state becoming increasingly popular, so much so that, little by little, their prices are starting to fall. But before that have been around the pen the typical memory sticks which have been based SSDs to reach the public.
The product that we bring today is no less a mix between a SSD and a USB,maximizing the performance of a memory stick to the style of a solid state disk. We are talking about the Silicon Power eSATA / USB 32 GB SSD II.
The packaging of the product in question has a simple style: it is a small box with the image of the stick and where we show the two available ports . Behind we have any ownership specified as the high reading and writing data, integrated LED indicators or compatibility with Ready Boost.
The elements that are attached this product is zero, at least beyond a manual, but it does not require anything special, so we do not throw anything at fault. Let's analyze this curious product that is twice as likely as others, thanks to its two data connectors and their, in theory, high performance.
Although advertised as an SSD, this hybrid has all the appearance of a flash drive. The difference between the two concepts is often minimal, and more in this particular case, and we enjoy also an eSATA connection that will allow us to squeeze more speed from this unit. Its external appearance is quite discreet, with black chrome finish and quite flat: size 76.4 x 27 x 11.4 mm and weighing approximately 20 grams.
