Default A question with gigabyte memories and plate.

I have DDR3-1600Mhz, but the Gigabyte GA-H55N-USB3 as it is logical to me 1333 MHz leaves. When I change the BIOS reports the profile using XPM, the Memories are at 1600MHz but the QPI link speed automatically raises from 5.04 to 7.04 and go up the processor speed Is this normal?

Reboot and when I enter windows the screen goes crazy and I get thousands of colors on the monitor blinking so I have to restart get the Memories again reboot and now everything is normal.

Have you tried to put the memos, manually, speed, timing and voltage? The xmp have a profile you change certain values, as you see, automatically. Try it manually without going through the xmp.

Annually RAM maximum multiplier is 10, so if I put in 10 or AUTO gives me the same ie reports to 1333Mhz.I do not understand that speed up the link qpi rises from 5.04 to 7.04 when using XPM.

According to this review if you put the memory multiplier at 8 are in the 1600 MHz ram and I multiplier 10 using the 1333 MHz me I understand nothing.

It is because of your Proses has a base FSB of 133 x 10 = 1.330 MHz, the processor of the review that has a 200 MHz FSB, so 200x8 = 1600.
Not the processor the review will make OC the FSB, set it to 133Mhz to 200Mhz.
    Read the first paragraph.

I'd have to do then to make reports to 1600Mhhz and not fire the qpi link speed?

I did not tell without seeing the BIOS, I'm not used to OC. First put the FSB, or 200MHz Bus Speed this is to be an exact multiple, eg 160MHz if you put some things I think will be out of position not if I say stupid things such as the PCI clock.

Once you put 200 MHz FSB you know that the reports to x8, and then hand look at multiples of the other things the QPI link will also have a multiple, no? bajaselo until you are in an acceptable speed the QPI link you up because you turn up the FSB but will not lower the multiple is like if you raise the FSB and not lower the CPU multiplier, then you will be 200x22 = 4.4Ghz.

I get lost if you take so long to respond, I do not remember going to the track.

Look, one thing I did not think, having a i3, better not bother to put the memory at 1600MHz, you will not notice any difference with a dual core.

Did not respond before, I had no time to try the OC again. The bitch is I have a DDR3-1600 CAS 6 and as I do not like leaving them to 1333Mhz.This weekend if I score a couple of hours I try again.

You will not gain anything in performance believe me .also do not lose anything if they are 1600Mhz CL6 when operating at 1333Mhz maybe do a CL5 MHz but not win if you win in latency.
