The HR-02 over the previous clearly increased in size. Thanks to the enormous heat sink fins and the great distance he is primarily suitable for the (semi) passive use or Silent systems with slowly rotating fans. The heat sink provides six heat pipes with 6 mm in diameter, which dissipate the heat from the CPU contact plate made of nickel plated copper. The base plate has in this case, the manufacturer typically convex curvature; its benefits are often very controversial. The aluminum fins are also drilled at an air dam between the blades and counter to allow air exchange. Furthermore the oval air duct in the cooler mid provides controlled air turbulence. This promises to be a better heat dissipation.

When mounting Thermal right uses the same system as the Venomous X, which allows a variable pressure. However, only the Intel socket supports 775, 1156 and 1366 of the house. A mounting kit for AMD socket but will in future be sold separately. The delivery of the HR-02 does not include fans, however, puts you at mount brackets for 120 mm or 140 mm fan. With dimensions of 140 x 110 x 160 mm (W x D x H) brings the "cooling-giant", a weight of 860 grams (not including mounting hardware) on the scale. The Thermal right HR-01 has left us altogether satisfied; to some extent our expectations were exceeded. It’s a great product for those who love the silent-PC for both clockers hardened, they can apply a fan blowing on HR-01
