The high-end systems are becoming increasingly demanding when it comes to power requirements needed to operate them and now is not enough to have any old power supply if it is a respectable gamer or someone who likes to squeeze every the last Mhz over clock your system using. The latest and most modern graphics cards from Nvidia and ATI increasingly require more power to operate and so does the high-end motherboards over clock as practiced in the system. The new power supply Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold solves all these problems while maintaining (or even exceeds) 90% efficiency at 220 Vac.

The Silent Pro Gold uses a completely new design with several innovative and proprietary technologies. Cooler Master has created the HTT (Heat Transfer Technology), a sink with an "L" designed to increase considerably more than the flow of air through the internal power supply, which generates lower operating temperatures and longer life of components. Another unique source technology Silent Pro Gold is the hybrid transformer is fastened directly to the sink, so that it becomes more compact while improving the energy efficiency of the source.

Another feature that helps improve energy efficiency is the Hyper Path, which is a "hyper link" between the processor and various components responsible for power conversion, resulting in a transfer of energy almost without loss, something that had not been achieved so far. If we combine these three characteristics we find one of the quietest power sources and efficient in its class. Each of the models offers a range of efficiency that exceeds 90% at 220 Vac for a load of approximately 50% (depending on model), with some of them never coming down 90%. In normal use (below 50% load) no model exceeds the 21 db noise thanks to the design adapted to the use of a fan at low rpm and the new design of the heat sinks.
