One of the difficulties with troubleshooting colour problems is that it's often hard to pinpoint the location of a problem. Kodak's Color Management Check-up Kit can help provide the answer.

It consists of a handful of specially selected images that have been scanned and printed on professionally calibrated and profiled equipment. By soft proofing the images on screen and comparing them with the printed output, you can determine the accuracy of your monitor profile. The kit also includes a GATFIRHEM strip - a sliver of card that tells you whether the ambient light conditions are close enough to the necessary daylight (5,500K) viewing conditions.
