    Default Compaq Presario SR1519Uk

    Hello all,I am using a Compaq Presario SR1519uk Desk Top PC and recently upgraded to Windows 7 home ultimate 64bit and also today upgraded from 3GB of Ram to 4GB. I can see that CMOS/Bios shows all 4 RAM slots filled with 1GB of Ram, but when I look in Control Panel > System on Windows 7 it states 4GB installed. Any ideas on how to get this missing 1gig to be utilised?

    Hello my friend welcome to the forum. Does the PC utilize onboard graphics that steels memory.

    No my friend I have invalided onboard as am using a loyal PCI Express Graphics Card.

    I admire if you have remarkable established in the Bios? I have and my ATI HD 4550 uses few of my memory as Hypermemory, as aresult it shows 4Gb with 3.8 usable.
