I also tackled the same type of matter in the running system. In that time I guess that this could be accure since of the virus available in the machine. So, I had scan the total hard disk apply the authorized antivirus such as Quick heal, Norton, Nod 32 etc. but it will not operate and the similar matter happened in the system. Then I apply the system restore choice which is presents in the control panel.

As per you discuss in the topic that you had set up the QuickTime 10 player applications successfully and then you restart the pc. After restarting the machine you can view that the QuickTime 10 player will not be available in the application directory. For solving that type of matter you require to manually extract the QuickTime 10 player package and then insert this extracted files and directory into the application directory.

Hey dude, this type of fault will be related to the either app software or it could be related to the running system. If the app software is to be set up identical good then this could be potential that the fault is happened since of the running system did not support it. The QuickTime 10 player application supports only the Mac operating system.
