NVIDIA declared now that it has called Rob Burgess, a veteran tech executive and independent consultant, to its board of directors. Burgess, age 53, did as main executive officer of Macromedia, Inc., a furnishing of Internet and multimedia software, from 1996 to 2005, and as the company’s chairman or executive chairman from 1998 to 2005, when it was got through Adobe Systems Inc. He has been a member of Adobe’s board since then, and has served since 2010 as a director of IMRIS Inc., a supplier of picture-guided therapy results.

Prior to bringing together Macromedia, he applied a kind of executive places at Silicon Graphics, Inc., and was chief executive of Alias Research, Inc., a IIID software company, from 1991 till its skill through SGI in 1995. He has a bachelor’s of commerce degree from McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada. Burgess elaborates NVIDIA’s board to 9 members.
