In the inside of the economic crisis a plenty companies began to adapt to a fresh market. With low money to expenditure the companies who had a saving concentrate on high-end PC parts entire of the sudden too began to introduce low-end to mid-rate products.

Sometimes that is surprising to see, Zalman for example is such a producer, ever keen to function at least the mid-rate but desirable enthusiast market, now as business needs to stay a fit and a solid name in the industry they too created a shift towards the less end spectrum of the hardware parts. A nice example perfectly of that is the chassis we will be reviewing now. It is the Zvii Plus chassis, a chassis long away from the cool form SKUs similar to the Z-Device, the best GS1000 series and hey what about that delicious MS1000-HS2 ?

So let's have a small chat about the characteristics of the Zvii series. First off, there are 2 examples, the regular Zvii and then the Zvii PLUS.

The primary differentiation among Zvii and Zvii Plus is the absence of a meshed side panel on regular Z7. The Plus does have that lock and too which arrives with a 120-mm fan set up and a place for setting up a second 120-mm fan and a controller to permit you to control the velocity of these 2 fans. Zalman markets the additional fan as 'free' fan but there is merely no other spot where this additional spare 120-mm could be set up.

The supplied fans are ranged at an RPM of a max up to 1,100 rpm and a maximum sound level of 22 dB. You can, if you need, substitute the side fans, as the 2 spaces in build support 80, 92-, 120- and 140-mm example. On the regular Z7 you can include the 2 side fans as well, but no velocity controller is available. Another difference among Z7 and Z7 Plus is the presence of an eSATA slot at the frontpanel on the Z7 Plus.

Together cases arrives with a so healthy characteristic set. These cases will cost yo for the most costly PLUS edition, now carry characteristics similar to pleasing aesthetic plan, LED front fan, dust filter securities at the meshes, side fan controller, front panel hidden through a door, rubber feet defending resonator, central processing unit Cooler Back Plate Hole is furnished for convenient central processing unit cooler set up. Not worse really.
