Default Please advise me choose an solid-state drive

I imagined I had determined on the Corsair Force GT or the OCZ Vertex iii. But then I read about entire the sand force controller troubles and blue display or end consequences. I have no view what to acquire yet, I am going to be expenditure upwards of a 120 quid on something I would wish a guarantee I will have no stability consequences. Is crucial m4 now my best bet?

Samsung 830 is your excellent bet, it has its own controller and there is no familiar BSOD troubles. It too acquires super quick Firmware updates as its entire in house. There is for each Sand force founded solid-state drive, and too the Marvell ones. Only have a read on the Crucial forums, as good as Corsair forums, and OCZ etc etc

The Crucial M4 is well - the Marvel ones did have few compatability consequences with sure laptop CPU boards but this impresses virtually entire solid-state drives. sure M4s too did have an consequence for a so short period presently - however it has been figured out within a some weeks through a firmware informs. The Sand force drives are not comparable though in conditions of firmware updates to the Intel and Crucial drives. The BSOD consequence with the new Sand force controller assumed months to be resolved.

Crucial MFour can not go wrong, with current firmware it is a fast and reliable beast... write capacity is so high so you would not have to worry about wearing it out. Samsung can be excellent but its more costly, the m4 is nearer to your budget. Acquire either the samsung or m4 whatever is cheapest as you should not observe a difference among the two.

Someone else correspond with this samsung 830 is excellent for stability!? I had a appear on the crucial forums and it does look they having a BSOD trouble as well. But not confirm if the samsung will be immune to these troubles either seeing as the sand force controller and just the marvell controller together have the problem (i familiar the samsung is a dissimilar one). Thanks for the tying though pancake I will appear into the samsung 830 128gb.

Thanks for entire the assist guys. What is so frustrating with solid-state drives is their does look to be stability consequences and endurance consequences with a lot of them and you can not discover that till x amount of utilize. Include to that the different loads individual apply to their C drives and example variances and it is only impossible to familiar what to acquire.
