Those "retarded cryptic timing numbers" are kind of important. Seek to understand instead of blindly dismissing it just because it doesn't make sense. Why don't you search for some guides online? When I answer questions on Yahoo Answers that's what I do half the time anyway. Given the sheer size of the internet population these days, there is *bound* to be someone who has asked your exact same question, or written some guide to overclocking.

Damnit! What cpu are you running? If it's an amd with an odd mutilpier then it will only run at 750MHz unless you oc the ram.Don't ask cause it's an amd intergrated memory controler issue and you wouldn't understand it.If the cpu is on an even multi then search bios for memory clock frequency and select 800MHz.If it's an intell system then go into the bios and select memory clock frequency and select 800MHz.It could be in a sub system so you should at least look at all the bios options. If you don't understand anything I just explained then you should take your rig to some1 who knows about such mystical devices or stick to a pencil and a peice of paper.Well that was easy ,wasn't it! ROFLMAO!P.S. My DDR2 800(PC2 6400) Crucial Ballistix Tracers are@1000MHz
