Thread: Overclock a Quad 9450

OC's new in this
I have a motherboard GA-73pvm-s2h
a quad core processor 9450 2.66
yrams: 2x2G 800m DDR2
and echo it to OC to 2.8 micro without problem
but after I upload more if I did not pass either of the bios
we must raise the voltage,
the default is to 1.25000
upload it slowly proving ...
well .... I miss the bios recognizes hardware but not start windows....

Might be the problem that has linked the rise of the micro fsb to get the ram too?
It is best to let the rams 800 and go up the voltage to the micro separately?

Another thing that set me and my plate is that only gives me option to raise the voltage to the micro not to the rams.

The FSB 200 if Stoke leave 220 and go testing in 5 of 5 always stable and the temps do not rise down to the Rams.
DDR2 800Mhz if you are down to 667 MHz DDR2 xq me understand the OC raises the frequencies of the rams.
I got it oc the FSB at 240 and the rams get to the OC 533 and go up to 600 MHz
so do not exceed the limit of rams: D.

I have 350 rams and I have risen to 840 ...
