    Default Overclock Core 2 Quad

I have a plate NF780i ZOTAC-AE, a c2q q8200 CPU cooler with a Thermal take V1 AX (9cito) and 4 GB of ram to 800MHz. I wonder if the boards hold the FSB to bring the process to 3.4 or higher as well if someone has already done so and provide me with a little help...

Hi, this is a q8200 multiplier x7 upload it to climb to 3.4 requires a lot of the FSB, we are talking about 485 FSB ... so you have to climb much Vcore although the q8200 are built on 45nm I think you need a good cooling system (not like that walks cooler) to upload it on that frequency ... cool well now if I believe that micro to walk more to get 2.8 GHz FSB Dram 1:1 and the processing platform and synchronized memory ...

The truth is that there is nothing special in my opinion this board ... Note that this high Vcore of the process to make the OC ... not be desirable if 3.6 is likely to take it to that voltage, and if you do not have a good cooling system will lead you to this high temperatures a faster deterioration of the process, if it is not so much notice the difference with an OC to 3.15 GHz (450 * 7) which is more than good and is a better sync ... seeks to stabilize the process at the lowest possible voltage ...

Stretch really is not the idea; I think something like 3.0 GHz is more than enough so the T º no drama as the V1 ax works more than good.

Thank you very much for your help.

Quad 3.6 that at least if you have to force a little strength, but as it OCEA at least to the limit, do not worry about the memos, the only limiting factor is temperature.

    Greetings!
