    Default Overclocking D 805

    Good people in the forum!

I'm new to the forum I just registered,,
    I need help

I have an overclock my Pentium D 805 2.66 GHz
I saw in other forums reach 3.8 GHz with no problem
but my goal is to pull up to 3.2
I have taken precautions and buy a cooler with more RPM, and I gave the thermal paste
And half understand some over clocking

I was trying to take 3.0 GHz
150MHz FSB 20 multiplied by the multiplier can not go up or down. But I started the pc release the CMOS so I have everything default. I needed to say what the correct value for a good overclocking

    I have a motherboard PC CHIPS P23G 512 DDR2 533 MHz in a single slot

    Need help please

    I'm new

    Now very grateful

    Greetings!

To feel a good increase in speed, I think the best thing is that you actually get 1 GB more of RAM ... for that you have in mind!

Well, first of all raised the divisor of the memories ... or there appears to automatic ... (Which would be 266 MHz stock) that you would download a bit so do not fuck up and not to make the overclock...
then rose by little (5 MHz at a time) the FSB and stability testing you ... controls the temperature!
When you no longer want to start it is because of lack of voltage (since the memos had already relaxed before) so there is in you, if you want to raise the Vcore or not....

more or less so ... Like the best is that you read a more extensive guide ...

    Greetings!

Thanks for the answer! I have a net of 550 W NO source but wow is good and the memory divider in the car for up to 666 MHz max at different values.

This source does not recommend it to overclock at all ...
which video card you got? (To see that those consuming more)

I recommend you have a program to control voltages (speed fan or another but that is pc chips) and get off the divider, at least a 266 MHz ... and upload of 10 MHz fsb and you look like are the temperatures and voltages (the latter running the orthos do it for a little time)

    I have a NVIDIA Geforce 6200 256 DDR2

I did the over clock now in 143 x 20 as they say everything slow pc rose 2.8 GHz for now! The normal temperature there is little difference core voltage of 1328 V the divisor is 200 MHz RAM
Thank you very much for all follow up of up to just 3.2
I did a test with orthos and no problem.

For the overclocked vga you have to flash the bios, video card that is locked to make oc from windows. With the 6200, despite being (no offense) a very poor source, you have to serve more or less well for the oc, the problem is not in this case the video card if not the same processor, which consumes 130w he himself, with oc worse.
There is something I do not understand, if these memos using DDR, the divider 200 would take the equivalent of 400MHz, which is what we are up factory, I am surprised to endure.
Got almost the same setup I had on my pc before, as a reference you can say that the source for my girl (350W) stood no more than 3000 MHz (150x20) so stable, I hope you have more luck in that regard.

No overclocked the video, but the process this 3.2 GHz with the orthos the temp1 in speed fan is going to 69 degrees and a bit: S but other are normal green I leave at 3 GHz.

    Thanks to all!

As the Pentium D is based on Pentium 4, it is extremely ocero.
Your version (805) is 90 nm, which generates more heat; I got 925, and am 65 nm, much less heated.

Mine is 3000 MHz (200x15) factory, we got 4000 MHz (266x15) without changing voltages, but the board was so I had scratches, when it raised Vcore in the BIOS, this does not change in reaching 2V u 1375 and still ticking.

The other thing that the board had was that the processor reaches 80 º and the fan was still spinning at 1500 RPM. And in another Place, 60th and went to 4000 RPM.

I say all this to show that the processor power of your friend to get here is much higher, to about 3.4 GHz at least, and to improve ventilation.

    Hi

They are an oven, it is not disputed. My fan came in the summer to 4700rpm with this process, I have it now and it’s never left 2500.
