    Default Overclock the geforce 8500

    Hello!
I will let you know that I have a problem when overclocked the geforce 8500.
The characteristics of my PC are:
    -AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600 + dual core processor 2.4 GHz
    ECS Geforce 6100PM-M2
    ECS Web Site
    -1 Gb RAM 667 MHz PC5300 DDR2
    -160GB hard drive

    Specifically the video card:
    Core clock: 500 MHz
    Core Memory: 333 MHz
    -Shader Clock: 918 MHz
And I want to raise a Geforce 8600 as:
    Core Clock: 540 MHz
    Core Memory: 400 MHz
    -Shader Clock: 991 MHz

The thing is I've tried with rivatunner with Atitool with cool bits with EVGA performance (I think that is the name) ... but nothing works. Specifically, when I try to raise the clock of the core, what reboot the pc and everything (all programs that are mentioned), returns to the original clock

Rivatunner with no button I get the test ... and the clock or the core or the memories. I get left on the clock I said, but then I run the everest ultimate, tells me that it has not made any oc the card, or to restart.

    Help please!

You have to ask the program to load the oc at the beginning (before you got to save it), if not lost, simply because the program quits.

Try the Atitool 0.27 beta 4, or the latest rivatunner 2.09.

Have Spy ware program such as Ad Aware? In the case of what you have, disable and then enable the option to start windows with the new values in the program using... Then re-enable Spy ware... And if you do not have any program you may be interrupted in this, as you will ever oc.

Download for overclock GPU (and regulate the fan speed) EVGA precision Tool. After adopting the parameters of which brings overclock your card but same version xxx or overclock ... and upload them each time the PC q pledge precision Tool. This will give you the overclock more stable, secure and guaranteed. Remember to upload the fan at 100% and when you play in 3D applications... Atitool and Rivatunner are bad and complicated...

I did what I said Dario23 and does not work ... I have Zone Alarm Pro, disable it, but I did the overclock does not work ...

I also said I chino24 download the EVGA Precision Tool and saw much more clearly what happens. Putting the clock that I want (540/991/400) applies account and I return to the original as the bars back. I do it again, testing it, but I fixed tests the original clocks.
What could be happening can someone explain and help me?

Watch a question, I purchased an ECS 8500-GT 512MB like yours, I would not want to burn doing a very high OC, and if you worked and you would like to know what values you put your card in order not to ruin mine .. .

    Many thanks in advance!
