    Default Overclock my processor

I want it overclocked my processor, an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3600 +. The thing is that after searching the Internet I learned enough not to get there and do this, depending on the plate (mine is a GeForce6100SM-M) and a number of other things. So to prevent my computer decided to go flying with you, appreciate any advice, guidance, something about this matter because he had never entered into this and really do not want and was gone as well precious material.

In advance, thank you very much.

Overclock in Force mothers like yours is easier than in others, can be done from the windows down from NVIDIA page, and lets you play almost everything, memories, ht, bus, latencies, and I believe that until voltages.

Friend, there is no victory without sacrifice, but in this case is not recommended, do not have a toy Lukas 2, and also I think a is powerful enough to put hand, it is advisable to try to with another pc you have a little more practice and theory in the body in the head can put you hand not knowing sake damage to pc, but as the gentleman said above is the best option if a final attempt to overclock you risk not knowing.

Overclock the processor, but on restart got. Besides the fact that Windows is stuck when he started at the beginning, the screen went out there and just turned and ran, after seeing it restored the options but it still happening with Windows. What could it be?

    Hi

We must tell the nTune load values when you start Windows, you have to see where this because I have no idea.

Load BIOS defaults, then the problem was fixed, another day of treatment overclocked, I just get my new video card.

I'm back to trying to ocear processor, but still can not get anything. In my BIOS settings do not get the guide and I may just change a few things, for example, the voltages will not let me touch them (though I tried to find this option in the BIOS and found nothing either as the guide) I do not want to get their hands and not being sure or almost sure that I do. There is some software that I more freedom to work with these values? Or do not know something that is useful to me?

    Hi

The best is always the bios, it's something you get used to and find all the options, which may be in other places and with different names.

My BIOS is Phoenix 6.00 PG, and the truth is I find almost no value to those named in the guide. I searched the internet and I found other users with the same BIOS that have the same problem. So now not to do. You can change the BIOS upgrade, anything? I need the overclocked processor and I could not do anything.

I have the plate and take it (video embedded) to a 4000 + @ 3GHz, at this time not at home or toy pa hit a glance at the bios and give you a little help on this board can stabilize Vcore, modify fsb amend multi ht and change the frequency to the memos, but not their voltages and timings.

Looking to find another guy with the same board and processor to overclock if you managed to do so based on what he did something, but I have several questions. Here is a ss of the emerging options in the BIOS and the options outlined below (all taken from the other topic that was subject to the same question)

Processes have to raise the CPU Frequency changing the 200 to 300, not unreasonably, giving 5 walks in 5 at some point can not start the system due to the high frequency that reaches HT so you change it and fix q in x4, that is automatic as on x5 process stabilizes the voltage NPT Control 1.350, to the stable this oc eye with memories, not let in automatic and have a frequency or less to reach its nominal frequency and not run the risk.

    Greetings

Modified the values of the CPU frequency up to 245, with that in HT x4. I also the NPT Control in 1300 (no more leaves) and reports on 533 (is 667). This setup gave me no problems after application, but the Everest or CPU detected the OC, only 2.45GHz marked My Computer, but appeared to be no difference, and when I restart the warning came out of the BIOS, taking to return values to the configuration options. What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks for the help.

If you are going for about 30 MHz on the FSB of the memos (e.g., in nominal and in 400 of configuration 436) down to the configuration of the Ram ... in the bios exit 400 MHz - 333-266-200 ... there is low ...

Cpu it shows you how much the HT is your process.... if you are going, then you will have lower 4x to 3x .... or whatever ... overclock all know is the limiting factor (along with the instability clear xD )....

Put your PC to default configuration, make him a stress test with prime95 about 30 minutes and check temperatures ...

If it feels good in school, as I have time to try to improve my gaming experience through practices like this.

Turning the OC, if I set the temperature, the first thing I think is named in all guides on the subject I have read, along with stability as saying. About what the RAM, I get no say in the values that the BIOS, if I had a lot of problems with that because I have so far been limited, the values I get are those listed above and nothing else apparently. I also know that the HT, but it's strange what you say because I have default settings and is 1Ghz. Another thing that still confuses me is that the CPU-Z shows me no changes, only the My Computer brand, and frankly not much trust in, at least not as much as the CPU-Z, so that this time I made minor changes, which gave me no error at all.

    Hello

That tells you the CPU-Z? 1000 MHz is said about whether the cool and quiet, which lowers the multiplier to the CPU when not doing anything.
