    Default My first overclock

    Hello!

I started to overclock the interest in this, and get time to investigate. " I decided to try it with a Celeron D 346 to 3.06 GHz, have increased to 3.23 GHz.

Well, my motherboard is an 775Dual-915GV, the comment above that the processor, memories, a 1GB Kingston and crucial technology 512 Mb. The BIOS I have 4-4-4-12 (of RAM) The processor is at a temperature between 37-38 degrees (previously between 36 and 37) in normal use in full use up the 45 or so I recall. The case, which came to ask ¿taking the stock cooler until they could raise the processor frequency in OC?

    Greetings and thanks!

    Hello and welcome.

I'm not no expert on the subject is more, the little that I know what I have learned here in the forum and reading and wandering internet. or what you say the OC is pretty good, you can get more rises rather than the FSB and be stable, temperatures are fine, I personally acceptable and optimum temperature is 60 ° to full (even with the OC that I have does not exceed 55 degrees) as I told you up the fsb to where and is stable but still I think he could lift 3.6Ghz without problems provided that the reports do not bother you.

Come up for a bit (from 10 to 10 for example) and tests measuring temperature stability with orthos minimum half hour, if it is stable and the temperatures do not exceed your personal limits to climb back a bit until you're in line or until it is stable, and when you get to that point you pass orthos for a few hours to say that the OC is totally stable (24 / 7) any doubt, people here always willing to help.

    Greetings

So I will raise the FSB to 15 in 3480 leaving approximately MHz dinner and while I tried all the orthos and others, and later post the temperatures I get.

    Thank you!
