    Default E8400 Overclocking

    I just put my machine:
micro: Intel core 2 duo e8400 (stock fan)
    mother: is asus P5K
    Memos: DDR2 OCZ Platinum Edition rev2 1 Gb PC2-6400 DDR2-800 4-4-4-15
    Disk: Western digital caviar 120gb
VGA: 6600GT (staying on the machine until I had before buying a new one)

Without touching anything, just staying up in FSB 4100 MHz, the system was totally stable has not risen higher because I have a problem with the temp, is 51 º is normal in these processors? The first thought is to put the Vcore to manual and download a bit, now at 1.20v. Between working as I did not have time to prove. Hear recommendations.

Let ... The cabinet has 4 coolers of 120mm TT. Because I will do another question ... The memos is in order in the bios and is listed as 5-5-5-15. I should put in a manual download and 4-4-4-15?

    Hi

If you do oc, reports can give you problems at 4-4-4-15, because while they are young, give better performance but less oc endure.

Temperatures are a little high, with not exceeding 60 ° is fine.

For now leave the micro 3600mhz FSB 400 x9, memos 1:1 with 4-4-4-15 in the left until you can change the cooler. What do you recommend? I was watching the TT Big Typhoon VX Cooler and ZALM 9700 LED 110mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler (which it is here).

Cost the same whether you go, because it is quieter and more beautiful... but good performance go hand... would say though that it behaves a little better when pigs uses voltages (1.60v on) .. But for moderate or lower voltages are the same things.

    Greetings

To see how the Portuguese, I think he is the blink asus mobo (which uses or the post, not sure) when the voltages overclocked by default (automatically), too voltages and therefore It heats up more than they should... Then overclocked better than at all voltages manually.

    Greetings
