    Default Intel Celeron overclocking guide

    Hello.

I just switch from AMD to Intel because AMD has disappointed me ... then I would like to be as my overclocked Celeron, ok?

I can put the information here or get links to the topics that say something about OC Celeron ok?

    Hi:
Here you got the evolution of all Celeron models:
    Look in the section:
    Willamette-128
    Northwood-128
    Celeron D (Prescott-256)
These are all the Celeron architecture with Net-Burst

What to overclock ... I do not know much, but to ask, who earned an 80% overclock with a Celeron here in this forum.

Can only be overclocked by changing the FSB?

One more thing, I read that there x multi Celeron is locked in too, like my old Sempron There MOD to unlock?

In fact the only bad is that normal Celeron has less cache.

The good news is that a bus is low (to increase almost as much as in D) and the cache is smaller latency the de2.0, for example comes readily to 3.5, we leave it to an board.

Well, here things are going for taste... I tired to show that the Celeron is not worth shit as many here say ... in order overclocking as you can on a good motherboard and make your conclusions ... at least I was very satisfied with the performance offered by Celeron.

I have not used Celeron D but if Tualatin Celerons that for my point of view and to use… I do not like ... do not use Super PI but if you use windows and in games.

Think there is much difference between Celeron and Pentium. OC a single end user could possibly meet the demanding but what is normal and common for people to "any" cpu serves.

    Greetings

Your multi Celeron is 20, 20x13 = 2660mhz Apply it fsb, 133 fsb on these, if you're 166 and 3320Mhz if you have the accompanying hardware and cooling 200, if you're in the 4000mhz fsb (4ghz), it is clear that for high frequencies Vcore (voltage cpu) is more than necessary.

I my ex-Celeron D 320 2.4 you get 4.3 GHz stable. These are super oceros Celeron.

I've spent the first 95 without OC and not more 70 º C much? I think not ... I will update the BIOS in order to raise the FSB ok>? When you know something, post it ...

I think that temperature is fine ... Pentium 4, my mother is more or less the same ... starts at 35-36 ° C but to pass during the first 95 normal 15HORAS it reaches that temperature ....

You have to less memory cache ... heated less. Think something is wrong in the temp. May be the plate and you have not installed either sink ... well ...is far less ambient temp...

I apologize for my previous data ... normal is 70 º C the raisins with the box closed, and in summer!

With the open box was maintained between 45-48 º C ok? That's better, no? I tested it with games, many games and do well, except one, the Pro Race Driver.... I occasionally hang.... but, well, I have changed the chipset heat sink my old K7S41GX and now seems I was not hung ....

Remains much temp = going if you follow this process with such as high temp ... of the jar open, there is not, as the pc with temps normal case is closed ... has thermal paste?

Check the Vcore and see if you can get a little ... Download it to see becomes unstable.

The same discussion as always ... Usually they all say that the Celeron is bad for you related to a low-end PC with an integrated plate, but the same process in a decent plate will be surprised how well it can work and overlock.

My HNO has a Celeron 2GHz Northwood running at 2.8 pc in a like mine with no problem...
