    Default Setting OC voltages

    Hello.

Hardware: OCZ 600W, Abit IP35PRO, c2d e6420, 2x1 tracers crucial pc2-6400, MSI 8800GT oc, SATA2 160gb, 40gb. The most that was achieved so far FSB: 450 (SPD auto) and all other voltages stock Vcore: 1.35 CPU MCH: 1.25 ICH: 1.05.

This also holds with the multi at 7, but what I seek is the highest fsb. The issue is that 460 does not boot up, got the follow up to 1.33 and 1.27 and Vcore to 1.4 and nothing happens..? I'm doing wrong? I understand that this would be hard to climb easily... What configuration do you recommend?

    Thank you.

Voltage on the chipset you have not moved? .. Minimum 1.45v need to overcome the 410 FSB stable at 100% in P35 regarding the voltage of the processor to use 24x7 will depend if your C2D is used as the new stock if 1.325vo the first to use 1.250v (which are more sensitive to increases in voltage) .. in the case of the former (1.325v), is not as healthy passed from the 1.45v (with stock cooler) 1.55v and with a cooling or water-based ... in the case of operating on the basis of 1.250v, is not as healthy as going over 1.350v with the stock cooler and the improved cooling with 1.45v.

    Thanks for reply

I guess that the microphone is new because it lets me automatically to 1.35 (in the mother can not make less than that). Just put him at 430 * 7 with 1.35 stock Vcore, and rose to 1.29 MCH <<- this is the chipset voltage? I read here that by raising the voltage to MCH (NB it would be) you should also raise the CPU?

My idea is to go up and testing about 5 min. with orthos (one per CPU) and ACTC for the memories. The memories are 4-4-4-12, I recommend that the SPD in place?

MCH should sip on your case, we must also raise the VTT to ensure stability, but need not be higher than what you have to Vcore at the time, so it should suffice to 1.350v… in terms of memories, beginning with one to go 5-5-5-15 isolating process stability first of all, when you overclock the processor Consolidated start tightening the memories

    Greetings
