    Default Overclock my graphics card

When dealing with the memos overclocked my graphics card with everything goes black and I have to reset the PC. For the oc the core I've reached 620 without problems. I have also tried to oc with the utility that comes with the catalyst, but the climb just 2 MHz memory or the core to this program the screen is filled with artifacts and I must go back to default. I'm using the official Ati 7.4 drivers. What happens then? On the Internet that the voltage of the vga was bad or anything, will it? My PC is (just in case):

    Asus P5W DH Deluxe
    Core 2 duo e6400
    Corsair DDR2-800 2 GB

Achieving solve the problem, I do overclock 1950pro with Atitool 0.27 Coming in at 645 MHz core and 1520 MHz for the memories! (To give more but for now I do not need).

I had to use the Atitool 0.27 by changing the options to "driver level overclock" to "overclock x1000. Then press "Find max core" until you consider that it is acceptable or artifacts.

Now I have a new problem.

I playing game at 60 fps, very well, and suddenly, upon reaching a certain location FPS drop abruptly. From that area or location of the corner of the game the fps go up instantly.

Solve the problem of drop of FPS. The very stupid had latencies of 5-5-5-18 and reports in voltage in AUTO. Putting latencies at 4-4-4-12 and voltage at 2T games began to fly!

In any case, follow the overclocked card because I wanted to play Rainbow 6 Las Vegas so that a full search in google cache to achieve the constraint on the OC this voltage regulators, which can reach 100 º before the OC fail and all will be black. Solution: As it did with its new 1950pro Ultimate, you must remove the voltage regulator.

The TMG AT2 is an excellent heat sink VGA, like the vf900, but not get the hot air of the cabinet, not voltage regulators, and for more auctions, TMG AT2 pulls the hot air regulators voltage. So, apart from the memory heat sinks had to pull the hot air from the area.

I have come to this community and looking for my overclocked vga, and I think I have found a very good site congratulations!

I have an Ati x1950 pro with 512mb of sapphire on, come on like this, I increased the core 581 (core set)-up to 600mhz, and I'm afraid since it has no cooling system rather than the serial and temperatures around 90 degrees and the GPU chip is a 54 º temperature a little high or I think I? (Frequency of the memory I have not touched yet)

    Lower the OC man!

You are almost within the limits!

The temperature is high; I recommend you do not OC until you can put a cooler of better quality than the stock. I had to change it.

Change sink in the graph never worth by bit manufacturers have put bigger heat sinks, effective and quiet, and not lose the warranty.

Do you think is worth to spend 40 € to win 2 frames?

Changing the cooler I was able to implement oc vga and I won more than 40 frames at full settings.

The process I have little OC ... I shall begin to apply…

The vga is guaranteed not to lose and therefore not going to redesign the cooling system until it takes a while, I managed it surface but little, in terms of overclocking This overclocked vga not in normal micro heated to 61 degrees, and I play around 90 degrees even without the micro heated the overclocking will do in the future when we really need to rip frames but now is do not risk it puts me that I have invested enough sweat to fund the vga.

Thank you very much for the advice!

The RAM heat sinks come with glue; you need patience to make it strong in voltage regulators that if.

Now I put a fan on the part of the voltage regulators, it works better!

    Greetings!
