    Default DDR400 Overclock

Hello everybody, I'm new at this from the oc, but I read some things... but I have plenty of good questions so I brought up here is a situation that occurs to me on my computer, the configuration is as follows:

CPU: AMD Athlon XP 1500 +
    socket a (462)
    Core Speed: 1383
    Multiplier: 13.5
    Bus Speed: 100Mhz
    Rated FSB: 200Mhz
    Board: MSI-ms6712 (kt4av)
as you can see my memories are of 400, the point is that when you turn on your computer that tells me is 333.

My question is why this happens and how to remedy? (If you can)

Thank you very much in advance!

    Hi

Are you sure that all your memories are ddr 400 may have a 333 and that is why you are taken to that frequency.

    Hi

Good memories are all actually DDR400, manually set the frequency of the memos in the BIOS and check in with the window Cpuz to walk the same speed.

Hello everybody, I followed up because the motherboard would not recognize the 400 speed and I've noticed that depending on the image above I have two memories that are "dual" one could say, I think, because they operate at 333 to 400, I understand that.

He left only the memory, according to cpuz, it would be 400, I rebooted and ĦĦĦsurprise! I continue to 333. Change the frequency in the bios and latencies according to information from cpuz and nothing, the same..... In case you attached a picture of cpuz on the processor.

    Hi

Only the 2 test with 256 memories and set the bios default leaving latencies and 200 MHz.

Well, you tell that I have tried what I suggested and I am under 266 or worse ... but that the latter suggested that the fsb of the process, I drew attention to and change it to 133, maintaining and now me DDR 400 mark, so this would be the solution, but if you think this high multiplier or you think something strange or if you think you could get up a bit...

The multiplier is okay. I do not remember the process you actually 13.5 and poorly configured in the BIOS. You were losing all the grace that has the bus speed of 133 and the extra processor.

On whether it allows you to DDR400, it's probably because the motherboard uses dividers. Many can be realized. By increasing the CPU speed and send the divider, the memories came to DDR 400.

Thank you answers me that despite your cold...

You said you change the fsb from 133 to 132 (you seem a joke) but at 133 I started to appear blue, so it is down a point and so far everything is going well.

    Hello

In fact the Athlon XP 2200 + is 1800 MHz bus real thing that you must manually configure the BIOS and so the memos automatically go to your actual speed.

    Hi

Do not have to reach 133 by the OC, but you have to "tell" to your plate to the fsb of your process is normally 133. Tell me which board to use the manual to see if you can lend a hand.

    Hello

My motherboard is an MSI KT4AV with VIA chipset.

In any case I still blue, since you set the fsb in the bios.

    Thanks

    Hi

Apparently, they are configured in the same place the original OC and frequency of the procedure. I recommend that you revise either your processor voltage used, because it should work fsb to 133, since the Athlon XP was never less than that. Try to set everything manually in the menu to make sure everything go well.

I made the process of Vcore to 1,650 V (originally 1600), leaving memories in the SPD and driving in 133 fsb, I mark the coming of 1800 and 400 reports, there was no need to change manually, which My concern is that if I am right, is that the voltage in cpuz cpu varies from 1650 to 1616 and low and then back up, do not know if this is normal.

The Vcore when I went from 1600 to 1625, gave me a windows blue screen entry, upload it to 1650, and I gave it.
