Well, I just put a new PC and I'm just starting out in the OC and neither had the money to buy more "top of the line and buy me the following components:
Board: GA-945-GCMX-S2
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E4300@1.8Ghz
RAM: Transcend 2x1GB DR2 @ 667MHz "> DDR2 @ 667MHz 5-5-5-15
The problem I have is that originally used Win 2003 Server and Stock speed there was no problem, while trying to OC the MB 2.5GHz is nothing more, does not try to start and if you reset the BIOS screen, so that more I managed to "stable" is 2.47Ghz, but when in windows and try to watch some videos in MPEG2 or H264 high definition video is lost, and within seconds the computer freezes, sometimes reaching a view screen error that a failed video driver or anything and the resolution drops to 640x480 in 256 colors, the graphics in this PC are the GMA950, but apparently otherwise your PC if successful, this attempt failed after install Vista and there the problem was most obvious when trying to OC above 2.2 is beginning to see "pixels" of color on a completely random across the screen, and if the OC reaches 2.4 is lost in the video Just as in the other windows, the maximum speed that seems to take no issue is 2.2GHz.
It seems the RAM is not the problem as having the FSB to 245 2.2GHz I have a working reports to the fabulous speed of 815Mhz so I think they are not the component that is giving me problems in this I have the time to 651Mhz which would be slightly below what is its original speed, but according to the 2006 Everest Ultimate Performance comparisons of memory does not decrease to practically take a 651Mhz vs 815Mhz.
What will be my problem? 2.2GHz seems to work stable, but I wish I could squeeze a little more to my CPU. I have the notion that integrated graphics are somehow doing OC with the CPU in the Bios there is a choice about it, and SYC ASYC are shown to understand is that the GPU does not move its speed depending on the CPU while I'm not quite sure and I'm fairly new at this from the OC.
If I install a graphics could reach the maximum of the second board that I read is that they are 300 FSB = 2.7Ghz?
