    Default Overclocking Radeon 9550

As you will see I am new to overclocking and it's also here to congratulate you in advance because it is a great page.... I have an ABIT RADEON 9550 TURBO GURU 1 year and half ago and the truth is that the split has worked and I have nothing to complain.

It usually will do a OC of 509/320 with ATI tool and in most games is good and average re pulls about 75 FPS... in the same game and I leaving many artifacts with the clock given above... But the scan with the ATI tool does not leave me... the question is...

What overclock I advise those who use this card? Could help me because what I have seen this card is super perhaps I am not getting the best performance.

    Hello, Welcome to the Forum!

The ideal friend would you go down the clocks to a point that does not give you artifacts. And to check that everything is fine, also tested with other games 3dMarks... or more dense leaves in search of artifacts atitool for a long while.

I believe that the artifact is not on because of the overclock, but for this game is incompatible with certain ATI cards (already happened, but no artifact). We mention this as is odd that in all the games do not have any problem with the overclock fact (such as artifact) and just to give VT3 problems. There is an official patch for this game and install it and look ... he says. Now if it did it would have to prove the clocks down a bit...

The truth is that the game download the patches... and artifacts can solve the curiously change the resolution of 800x600 to 1024x768... if you raise the clocks to have better performance (hopefully someone advise me) and endure no more and buy a better card level?

I give these alternatives because they can not reach that level this card... if not understood

Thank you very much for replying!

The patch makes the game have better graphics and fix some bugs and flaws that you have with ATI cards. Now with all these improvements decrease fps. Not that he is so slow; I play without problems with the PC of my signature, though the fps is good and feel like little slow in the game.
