Overclock Amd FX processor

Hello friends,

I would venture into the world of overclocking, I have some experience worse very remote, which I Overclocked once an old AMD Athlon.

This is now my machine:
AMD FX 55 core
rated speed 2.6 GHz
unlocked multiplier (down and up)
2 x 1 gig DDR400 Kingston value (they are in dual channel)
EVGA 8800 gts oc 320 mb
p5 source to power 520 watts (very powerful)
according to what I have read a highly Overclocked machine, but the truth could not be where to start or how.

I have read the guidelines as recommended here, but really need an explanation for either rookie, someone tell me rose fsb multiplier or both and makes the reports in 1.2 or divider makes this or that thing.

If someone can help me and tell me what the best configuration I will be thankful for.

Looking advice and support

Greetings

Want to upload speed of the process
first: try to leave the memories rams at a rate (to avoid that if you reboot your pc think it is reaching the limit of your processor when in fact the Rams are not giving up)
2. ht trying to find out how much it holds your plate (it is certainly a value very close to 1000Mhz, the HT is calculated as a multiplier in the bios is seven multiplied by the bus on your processor)
3. It is always better, at the same speed, less get more fsb and multiplier (for example, your processor must be 400 * 6.5 = 2.6GHz, 2.6ghz maintaining, it is preferable to have a fsb of 480mhz and a multi of 5.5)
4. To make this game, you will have multiple configurations considered stable (stable means not only you get to the Windows desktop, but can also play quietly).
5. Which configuration to choose? that you leave the pc faster (obviously, no?)
6. surely you find that your process does not reach a certain speed, then you can increase the voltage, this increases the temperature, but may allow more processor speed

My idea was to test some of these 3 basic configurations that are without having to touch voltages or extreme things:

processor on default:
200 x 13 = 2600 MHz
Memos 2600% (13 x 1) = 200

Option 1 (top fsb keeping nearly same speed)
240 x 11 = 2640 MHz
Memos 2640% (11 x 1.2) = 200
x5 = 1000 ht 200 MHz

2nd option (top default fsb and processor speed)
240 x 12 = 2880 MHz
Memos 2880% (12 x 1.2) = 200
240 ht x 4 = 960 MHz

3rd option (upload more processor speed, but keeping the fsb at 240)
240 x 13 = 3120 MHz
Memos 3120% (13 x 1.2) = 200
240 ht x 4 = 960 MHz

In all cases the memos using splitter 1.2 (by placing in 166 in the bios) kept working at 200 MHz

I do not understand is not much but it seems reasonable for a moderate overclock, nothing extreme, and certainly all options will be stable with a good cooling of the processor, better than the stock cooler.

I look this good advice on whether the options or put something wrong in the calculations.

Is to try to upload as many configurations but the fsb, touch voltages if necessary etc, but I do not think I want to make me want to take something simple and fast that I might yield a 20 to 25% better alone.

With any of these overclock will get a 20% better performance (maybe the last, we should define what is to increase yields, or measure, whether in games, in load, etc) thing now is to test positive, I do not understand what you want, as I said, the overclock is trial and error for the last two options will have to raise the Vcore a bit I think.
