    Default Need some overclocking advice

    Friends:

I have a Celeron 1800MHz on an asus board with 2-mx p4vp memos ddr PC2700 Mark Vision a 256MB and 512MB of PC3200 Mark Vision and find that works super slow for the resources you have. They even note to come to Windows XP that is hit when the mouse passes through the user names.

Compared with a similar computer that has a Sempron 2000 in a pc shit 863g and the same amount of memory. The latter works super well, runs smooth, simple, and the effects are good.

That solution might have? The speeds of the memos are configured by SPD.

The Sempron is otherwise next to the Celeron and there are next to an Athlon. But what is the normal and that does not have to be. May virus 1 and I recommend to format and post the results if it follows that = do not believe you could try to OC a bit.

I do not think is a bug that happened to me since I bought it.

I wonder if there is any way to get more performance by up to see where the speed of the process can not be changed and if not adjust latencies of memos solve anything in the subject.

The other thing that seems strange is that the memory test in everest I get bad results.

Your problem is the slow chipset (VIA P4m266) using your main board ... to get some more performance you should optimize your OS (as many soft system mechanic something to help) ... Internet searches by the optimization of many guides available for Windows ... because paragraph hardware / bios setup, there is little to do ... other details ... are using the integrated VGA? The DDR is very slow and even at high resolutions.

    Greetings.

That thing is going for the latencies of the memos. review it in the bios and try to download something to extract more performance and more speed around 170 or more if they go well, but best at 233.

What this chipset does not know him so I do not know if it is slow or not.
