Overclocking my computer

Hello

Sorry for the inconvenience but I happened half a rarefied... I come to explain:

Today I was cleaning my PC, disconnect everything about running and data transfer (IDE type, and all those hands), but when you connect everything and make the process with Artic Silver 5 that I bought: I am happy to get this sacred compound ... I started to take my PC:

Underground 2 and played 10 min or so I started to notice that the game became a bit stuck ... I gave no importance until they started to get more chewy ... And I started to find out:

Left the game and the first thing I did was push- Windows + Pause - and saw that instead of the processor name:
"AMD Sempron ™ 2400 + (@ 1666 MHz) appeared with the name:
"AMD Athlon ™ XP 1500 + (@ 1333 MHz).

I was like 3 Hrs Approx. I could do until I went to print the manual overclock a Sempron Mobile AMD Athlon XP ... But there was no result because he left that the process was an "AMD Unknown 1333 @ ...

So I gave up and went into debt to the cafe to ask for help you.

Help, and not stand with the FSB @ 133MHz ... I want it as it was at 166MHz...

You must have reset the bios; put the bus in the process is 166 MHz and not 133? If you can not change, then you can by jumpers, you have the manual for your motherboard?

Checked the temperature of the process then put the artic silver?

The BIOS does not resettle after cleaning...

The resettle after watching the speed change and on the other hand.

BIOS will not let me change the BUS to pro ... Only the RAM freq ...

The PC came with your manual ... I gift old when i left 4th

Check the temperatures, are stable between 40th and 50th ...

The truth is not the problem ... There should only be changed ...

That strange, because not only is the FSB, but changed Sempron to Athlon XP....

Try reducing the newest BIOS.

That is because the bios has been instructed that any process with a socket 256cache l2, 133 bus and a multiplier of 10x is a Athlon xp 1500 +

Certainly not spent to bring anything? No such jumper?

Revised page manual for your Foxconn and now it only recognizes that speed.

Upload fsb to 166 in the bios or a jumper, as is the case for your board ... does not recognize the Sempron is just Sempron 1500 + no ... recognizes an Athlon why, when you upload the fsb...

Update the BIOS, but before and had updated the board and I recognized the Sempron 2400 + @ 166x10 ...

Maybe where I escaped to make the iron lever that holds the heat sink has become something, but I doubt its 50% ...

The board controls the speed of the FSB of the CPU also? I am weird, I can use ATHLON XP but just as the 200 MHz difference...

What if I use the utility for updating the BIOS on the CD that comes from the plate and only under the New and BIOS upgrade from my Pen Drive?

After returning the Speed OC but would like to make the figures with blue ... OC is not automatically and by the way ...

Furthermore, the plate has almost no NINGUN jumper, there are 2 that are joining in some Front USB, but as I have, came so ...

Thanks anyway, some words of encouragement are always good.

There will not be in the BIOS in the Frequency / Voltage Control.

Check option within that the CPU Frequency something there.

Dices actually happened after artic silver? Can be bridged has something inside of the process or elsewhere. I have a tb Foxconn fsb and upload the second option, I called advanced option or something like that, and you dial and write the fsb in your case 166.
