I do not like the hp; verify that you have options in the bios.

Limited to the boot options, time, and now, but almost never bring other things.

You have to see the model of the motherboard ... You can use programs like EVEREST to see this item

Once you know that, more research.

In any case you do not illusions far motherboards usually have pretty basic, which does not allow changing voltages or frequencies.

    Greetings

Party for the bios ... if you have no oc options, look for the model of the plate for a possible bios update with a non-hp, but the manufacturer of the plate.

Although not very likely, editions are usually only for large assemblers that do not support serial bios which can not be flashing and can not be Overclocked...

Generally PC manufacturers (such as your HP), block or cancel the options to increase frequency, you know, to avoid claims for failures due to this practice.

Reviews (as you have said), the BIOS Setup of your motherboard and see what options you have. Doubt leave well alone.

You could aver seen the model with a program, wave or everest aida-32.

In any case I doubt that such pcs brand (HP wave, COMPAQ, PACKARD BELL) ocear be, I had a Packard Bell I-Media 1248 and did not even bring AGP, OC Less options

Now, as the pcs commodore ... fsb bring it to climb, because once I had a Commodore to put XP Pro.

That is a guess Sempron 3.2 754 mounted on an msi does not sound bad memory that gives me the generic idea, the bios lately are quite lately.

The pc brand is almost always armed to the feet but he does not leave capacity.

Well this complicated, you should try to make a back-up bios on a floppy disk, and these manuals recovery bios, because if it still has a valid block, say the BIOS, after a flashes incorrect, then retrieve it even booting with a floppy.

And if not, it would have to seek another identical plate that works for you to make the famous hot-swapping, there are also manuals that.

Anyway, programs flashes, check the id of the plate before it is not so?

So I think this is safe. And if the pal says it has the same board, and succeeded.
