    Default Overclocking Athlon 3000+

    Hello.
I want out of the doubt and know to respect my pc can overclockers.

    Processor.
    AMD Athlon 64 3000 + SKT 754

    Level 1 Cache: 128 KB
    L2 Cache: 512 KB
    Technology: MMX, SSE, SSE2, AMD64,
    NX-Bit
    Speed frequency: 2000 MHz
    BUS: 800 MHz
    Volt: 1.50
    Model: Newcastle
    Version: BOX

    Motherboard.
    Abit NV8 SKT 754 nForce 4 4X PCIe

    RAM.
    Corsair Value 512MB 400MHz

I hope I may not lead to too much force. And the other is that that program can do.

For a while I'm going to go down the Everest temperature and it seems to me that while not much higher than 60 ° there is no problem or not?

UFA ... story is repeated... because it is not cost much vibe but read? ... I think not... some patience .... but in order have a core, it is not bad but not within the ranges of good oc, at least most of 2500 with the mobo you have, the memos are always ocear may, at least frequency and playing with their latencies and the rest Trial and error is just to get something good ....

Thanks for your reply and sorry for the question but I never do that as I did I was afraid of trying to raise and not spend too much not to burn it but then if there is no problem I will try to make it as 2500mhz obviously there is no risk.

Although still not very clear how I'm going to do a little review. And something can be done through the bios I'm going to try and happen.

One last thing I wanted to know and step into the post to begin with, and to accelerate the process that suffers any more when trying to wear it to work faster than it is by default.

Have to lower the frequency of reports, to go from 250 FSB x10 need to download if your frequency is not given by your memos more than that seems; ... and if you can change the multiplier x9 well get more performance and win the fsb.

Sorry but I do not know how to lower the FSB to the reports, I would like if I could explain how. And I imagine that this will serve and if so what I can return to.

On your mobo, the properties of the chipset in bios, there is an option that is Dram Speed in it......... I have to make manual configuration, and within the options you can download the manual memos 166, 133 and 100 MHz up to 270 fsb it will be useful to leave memos on 166.... If you want to upload it (unlikely as that is more or less the roof of your CPU ... 270x10), you must download it again to 133 to achieve stability.

The other thing is to continue raising the fsb to 300, with 133 memos in bios, but lower the multi to 9x, which get equal real 2700 MHz, but with a better bandwidth.

    Greetings

If you say it is 754 of 2500 MHz no real power to make ... but the evidence you have given.

    I recommend you watch this

    FSB: 280
    CPU Multiplier: 9 *
    HTT: 2.5
Vcore: 1.525V (if you have stable dale with 1.55 but I leave to your discretion: D)
    VDIMM: 2.7V

That would is valid to say that to be a Newcastle 500 mhz gain is not bad at all.

Watch it and read it is recommended that in the HT 754 does not exceed 800 MHz for stability reasons ... but if you spend nothing happens ... but better be <800: another thing that I forgot ... if you want a range of OC in May we suggest you change the stock cooler to bring your CPU or by a Blue Orb II (which I think is called like this

    That would be good
