    Default Overclocking my A64 2800+

Well here they let the Overclock stable managed with this system:

    Athlon 64 2800 + Newcastle

    MSI Neo3 Gold (nForce4)

    The memos are 3 3 3 7 T1.

    The Vcore to 1.55v

    Memos 2.80v

    Chipset 1.65v

Shall we? I was quite acceptable, taking into account that the A64 Newcastle.

As I see the bios of my mother will not let me pass 300FSB, I got a BIOS MOD, but I'm afraid ... if anyone has this mother and dares to try the bios mod, will pass without problems.

Not sure if you use a mod bios do not do it.

You can come back to your previous bios if something goes wrong flashily only hot if something is wrong!

    Greetings!

I have not read anything about the core, but try, for my stepping, for example, the best we had was 2554 and I reached 2704, so it does not matter that much, to prove better.

If good, I tried with 2.5 3 3 3 7 but it is unstable, the HT is 3x.

What I noticed is that when you pass the 299 FSB or 2400 MHz the system gets out, right there, eh, not before. It is very rare ...

I think it's the bios for this mother, it is not.

The issue is that as far as I know more is better-HTT that MHz FSB x multi ... So it is better a 294 FSB and a 2350 MHz and 2500 MHz fsb of 230 x multi?

    That's what I said many.

Well if anyone knows because I can not pass 299fsb or 2400 MHz tell me.

The other weird is that when change the bios to 100MHz memos in any timing is always totally unstable, not because.

We clarified the doubts about fsb and multiplier ... FSB is more important as more to boost processor performance, you get the juice to the processor without forcing too much, just raise the multiplier to increase the MHz of the process, but not their performance, faster but you do not yet performing . I explain well?

With respect to the fsb of 2400 or 290, as simple as that x8 multi drops and tries to pass 300 fsb, leave in 2400 again but with the x8 multi on, if you pass either the 300 fsb, then that is what is failing.

It can be your process, but I understand that they are bad for ocear and Winchester is not the claw, because they are more heating, working with more Vcore etc....
