Thread: Issue getting my ram to actually be 1600

I just build a new build of the following parts:

Windows 7 64-bit
Antec 1200 case
Corsair 850w power supply
Corsair 6gb of DDR3 1600 RAM
750gb hard drive
Asus P6t SE mobo
Intel i7 920 processor
liteOn dvd/cd burner
and finally a EVGA Nvidia gtx 260

what I am trying to do with this ring is get my memory actually working at 1600mhz

What I'm trying to do with the ring to get my memory
actually works at 1600MHz Board default ram
1066 MHz. I have read some of the guidelines posted on the website
Top of the forums, but no one really helped me understand my
payment method setup things. I tried just setting
Up to 1600, but his hands "My Computer" in Windows
startup screen. So any suggestions would be appreciated.

s1366 i7 supports 1066 ram, not 1600. s1156 i7 I believe supports 1600.
