Thread: 3.6GHz for a Q6600 any good?

I have not much information about Overclocking and I surprised that my speed was good. I have Q6600 2.4GHz taken to 3.6GHz, FSB 400 Multiplier x9.0, Core voltage 1.408. It looks stable I thrown all benchmarks and Temp never reached to 60c but usually stick around 38-42c and around 22c per core.
And I also want to know what safe max temp for q6600 is?

Have you execute prime 95? It is look steady and wish that you are running memory in 800 MHz (ddr2 800).

I do not know board construct why place ddr3 in socket 775? High fsb in socket 775 CPU is 1333 it requires ddr2 667 to keep ratio 1:1 for E.g. c2d e8400 with ddr3 1333 how to keep ratio 1:1? By overclocking CPU to 666 but they know it's difficult to pump fsb from 333 to 666, with ddr3 it's difficult to keep ratio 1:1.
