Thread: Overclock of X58 i7

If all x58 i7 processors are clocked to equal speed, will they all have the equal performance? Or is there truly better performance in equal way from more expensive CPUs all at the equal clock? Please help me to solve this problem.

Depends on what settings you’re running at will affect performance as will timings. Certain motherboards will execute a little better than others. Although not huge difference. With that said all 4 core i7s will perform usually about same at same clock speed.

If you have singular LGA 1366 i7 chips and test them at equal accurate speed with all other and settings not altering, act will be same.
