Thread: Problem with phenom ii x3 550

I unlocked third core on phenom ii x2 550 and got cooler master hyper 212 plus and it maintains processor on 3.6 GHz with 1.36 voltage. So please tell me best tweaks to reach 3.9 or 4 GHz. I try several things but it is not stable. So help me to overclock RAM. Any help will be appreciated.

A one hour stress test is best rule of thumb. Though, it won’t display main errors that happen when perform things like playing video games. So you should stress test PC again when you have settings which are fine.

Use the settings given below to obtain 4.0 GHZ:

HT: 2400MHZ

HT-Voltage:1.26V

NB:2400MHZ

NB Voltage: 1.20

CPU Multiplier:19X

CPU FPB:212

CPU Voltage: 1.55V

DRAM Voltage: 1.76V
