    Default Overclocking through TurboBoost

So I'm new to OC and I've searching on how to overclock an i7 920 the majority of them thought for you to turn turbo boost and speed step and every one that. I really like those features. Now my query is, can't I just boost the bus pace and leave all also as is?

It actually is finest to go into BIOS and set the overclock you wish for. Or set the Turbo Boost limit which denotes setting an OC in BIOS, ensuring it's steady, and allowing TurboBoost. Most advocate that you turn off TurboBoost when OCing. I can still overlock and allow turboboost just as long as it's stable, right?

I've observe this also but I believe the BIOS can above-volt the CPU. If you set Vcore physically and test constancy of the overclock then you can leave TurboBoost on. This method when it auto-overclock it won't over-volt and you know it will be steady too. I disabled all the automatic over-clocking settings and substance in the BIOS on the first switch-on after putting mine together but that's just my personal preference.
