    Default Unsolvable problem overclocking

    Hi,

I have a problem that turns out to be really stubborn as I understand it. I'm doing a oc to my suitors , however, I have this problem that limits me. I have a 2.4 GHz E6600, P5B motherboard chipset with normal P965/G965, 1GBx4 ram kingston PC2-6400 400MHz x2

we are the problem, from bios or windows if overclocks up to 340 * 9 (339.9 makes them effective) date temperature (min 32 - max 64) voltages (1.35) holds overclocking, if I am going to increase and the port above the 340 overclock fails, viewing video on the tube processor comes easily to 3.6 ghz 3.06 ghz more than I can not reach

will be the motherboard that does not go beyond these settings? I am not able to find this data alas. [The bios is updated to the latest version available (but the problem is he does with the first one with the last one)]

    someone has the solution?

    hello..

How could that be the mainb, but also the ram ...Adjust the partitions after you turn the FSB? Maybe because the rams are traveling off-specification ...Also you can not compare the results of the same cpu. A little bit indicative OK, but then we must consider the step, the remaining hardware, different setting, and even if the CPU is very lucky!

Perhaps the 4 banks can influence ...

Add say that you came ... 64 ° are fine. If you get up again, you increase the time and perhaps too many and should not be ...

    Hi.

Instead of raising a lot of the timings and make them work at high frequency, put the ratio 1:1. So would 680MHz ram, but raising the FSB, you will not have problems of instability (and you may return the original timings).

A difference of 100MHz on the ram is not even wanting to see

the frequency was correct, the problem was the timing

I have now brought the e6600 at 400 * 9 3.6GHz, vcore from bios to 1.5v while CPUZ and probe is 1.45V, I have to find some utility to decrease this difference abbissale so I go down a bit of vcore, ram is now put at 400 (x2) ratio of 1:1, 6-6-6-18 timings 1.9V, temperature, and here I must take the new heatsink (I'm considering between a zalman 9500 or the last but it seems too big for the space or a tower to my knowledge are the best) I got up at least 30 ° to 82 ° after 68 seconds of 100% from the data we had to get around to testing finished 95th out of 90, since my processor supports a maximum of 85 ° have to find a sink that fall by at least 20 ° C.

    hello everyone..

the difference between the voltages set in the BIOS and OS is called VDROP, there are utilities for this, except that the LLC enabled in the BIOS ... but here it takes over the goodness of the mother to handle it ... smatitare event could be some resistance, but in this case you should look for guides on the net
