Thread: Over clock faculty not ready

Used to change my Q6600 OC'ed to 3.0 from 2.4. I had a student store hurtle so I had to pose my 4 sticks of 1 GB Buccaneer Dominator RAM (DDR2 1066 timings 5-5-5-5-15) with 2 sticks of Critical 2 GB ram helper CT2KIT25664AA800 (DDR2 800 timings 6-6-6-6-18 ) temporarily. I got my guardianship on 2 sticks of 2 GB Corsair Dominators (DDR2 1066 timings 5-5-5-5-15) as an indissoluble replacement but when I looked into the BIOS, my over timepiece reverted hindermost to 2.4 and would not prepare. Is there a way I can get this o.k. up to 3.0?

I had a same difficulty on my DS3R with 2GB Dominator storage (my proc is the E8200). Not certain why. As shortly as I replaced the RAM with 4GB OCZ, everything's been working good... I hate to say it, but it could be that those Gigabyte boards fitting don't equal the Buccaneer Dominator RAM... I had set the RAM timings and emf manually to spec and comfort couldn't get the table to OC.
