Thread: Overclocking PFour 2.4GHz Processor

Hello all i have a mercury CPU board founded on the intel 845 chip set and a P4 2.4GHz processor is it potential to overclock my system? if yes to wot velocity can i overclock less the requirements for custom cooling setup (i use the stock fans) i hav another querie. This does not rather fit in here but anyways only askin!

Well, yes,u can decidedly overclock your defaults central processing unit n Other system velocities, I imagine on stock cooling,u can overclock upto 2.6Ghz but mind it , if you are changing your mobo's FSB circumstances instead than HTT, u will have to alter your voltages level too , or you will end up with a fried mobo. Why do not you spend some green paper and get yourself a good cooling system. As for your DVD option, just flash your BIOS with a latest version available on your producer website n than you will capable to boot from DVD as well.
