Thread: How to use thermal compound/paste

Let me tell you my knowledge about it, where as I have tested lot of methods to function it but nothing has functioned. Whereas I tested dab o'paste in the center and too locking the heat sink down on top of it type, as it was been advice to me to do it. It was not entire hard to do it. Well when I have finish it then thermal pastes just covered about half of the central processing unit and even try to spread the compound with glove and founded compound was so sticky and it was been stuck on to glove and due to which I was not capable to spread it on heat sink. Well even was been told that spreading it with a paper towel may work, so doing with that then it is leaving behind fibers in the thermal paste and it dry the paste out faster, I think that it not a great type well it is functioning in pinch.

Before I was having P4 and have promoted it to new one. I have read it first online that first insert so little and spread it on the central processing unit and heatsink later that put a pea sized drop on to middle and when finish with it then locate my heatsink on to it. Well there is no requirements to spread it similar to I have finish in and as I was utilizing p4 and paste was excellent sufficient. Let me assure you that I will be stick with a razor blade cleaned with alcohol in advance. Which I imagine it is really well and too excellent thing to have it.
