    Default OEM processor overclocking board

Hi all. Today I have been encouraged to give OC my processor QuadCore Q9400, but unfortunately for me, reading the guide Terrez (very good if I flattery) and watching different videos Tutubo, I see that all the OC's are made by paragraph MB Intelligent Tweaker, a section that my current motherboard BIOS does not show, nor Cntrl + F1. So that no way to put hand to the processor with this motherboard? If the answer is no, could you confirm whether he had a problem changing the above processor with a new one, in this case by a 3.3GHz Intel Core i5 2500K? I wonder if the influence on the processor motherboard, OC is already clear that I can not do if the answer is no.

Sockets are different, not even use the same RAM (DDR2/DDR3 hybrid plates apart, which are few). The motherboard is important when making OC. With the 2500K (if I can only be put to giving the turbo) up less because of turns with the multiplier and not consuming but also a factor.

I do not know which of my questions then answer the truth, sorry. You mean you do not support the Intel Core i5 Motherboard with 3.3 GHz 2500K? The other processor itself is K, I ate a letter. Now edit.

You can not change your Q9400 for the i5 2500K, because as you said Obione'd have to change motherboard sockets also have different (and maybe the ram too). The OC is not the same way in all the plates, although the concepts are the same, the menus may change from one another. It would be helpful if you would tell us which motherboard you have. On the other hand, often tend to bring OEM computers capadas some options, such as OC.

Answer to the second paragraph. If you have not seen where to touch FSB and / or voltages or cannot do anything or you have left to read. MIT is Gigabyte thing, every BIOS has his stuff.

Gigabyte is equal capada or equal so the BIOS and can not raise FSB. In any case a plate so modest a 9000 series was not going to go a long way.

Ok, thank you very much for the response one last thing, could you (or who want to help me out), recommend some for the i5 motherboard and if not too much trouble, tell me if the four rams I have in my current Samsung DDR3, 4 each in 2 GB 1333 mhz serve to that plate recommended or otherwise recommend me other? The theme of memory ram not control it much, I mean, for example, when choosing between a ram of 1333 or 1600 I do not know what would be ideal for my motherboard.
