In the end, it comes naturally to the price at first but I find the comparison unfair, even if AMD marketed maybe four cores, it is actually more of a CPU with two cores and HTT, even if it can not be directly compared. At the end you have to see this in relation to power consumption and the sale price but please, more results one can still derive some already and I'm really curious to see how far that goes.

Interesting is that already, however, makes the power of today's cpu anyway nothing more from the previous speaker was saying and how you look only at the pay watts / current price.

Very interesting comparison, but I fear that even this latest amd wunderwerk not ultimately rankommt to pure computational power of a 2500k. would also ask whether the bulldozer already here on the last groove running or there's 'air' is the way to the top of the 2500k so as in this case to 5.2 ghz 'can' if I'm still right in the back of the head. But Sascha is right, ultimately, the cost of cpu & board be crucial for the power consumption of the bulldozer, I fear has been lost, when I see the vcore and TDP of 140w specified.

WinRar is not something for the ultimate, because many system-related factors play a role there you can take 10 to i5 systems and 10 systems with FX-8150, the results will never be the same. The bench will also show only once, how close or far the FX is loving this "discipline" to an i5, nothing more and nothing less.
