PC keyboard can get dirty rapidly, but there are many ways to clean keyboard. Keyboard must be kept clean of all garbage, dirt and grime, which could limit functions of a keyboard. Cleaning must take place on a regular basis to decrease growths of dirt and grime. Occasionally you can clean keyboard with one method, and other times it will need you to utilize two or three methods together to maximize cleaning efforts.

Cleaning Process

1. Turn off PC and detach cords leading from keyboard to PC. To maximize attempts, turn keyboard upside down so that any loose garbage is freed from under keys. As keyboard is upside down, you want to depress few keys to ensure dirt and garbage is loosened and falls away.
2. Obtain a can of compressed air, put in nostril and spray keys primarily down below them. This works fine, and you will see much garbage and garbage released from under keys as start to spray compressed air. You see dust and bits of paper and occasionally paper clips. As you spray air, you need to depress a key or two to help release anything stuck under keys. Ensure garbage does not blow in face and eyes.
3. Get cotton swab and put cleaning solution on it. You can utilize cotton swab to clean top and sides of keys. Ensure you obtain all keys containing backspace, space bar and number keys. This cleaning action will remove that scum from keys. If a material doesn't remove effortlessly, you must do this task second time until keys come clean.
4. Obtain cloth, which must be lint-free, and put drops of cleaning solution on it and touch up the top of keys once more. Now take a dry cloth and wash top of keyboard, which will give it finishing touches.
5. Test to see if you have covering keyboard. Occasionally a keyboard require a more careful cleaning, in which case you can remove all keys and do cleaning tasks again. This work must be reserved for covering keyboards. When you remove keys, you enable to totally remove all garbage from keys. It is time-consuming and challenging because some keys are hard to replace, particularly the bigger keys like space bar. It may be a good idea to limit number of keys you remove, if at all likely. Pay attention to where keys are taken from so that they can be changed in same order. It looks easy, but there are many keys with various symbols, numbers, letters and words that want to go back where they were taken from.
