Antec introduces CP-850, a power supply from the high performance and innovative in form. CP-850 is the first model of the power line that CP will be launched soon, and break old patterns related to the traditional format PS / 2, which for 20 years has been the principal standard for power supplies. The result of the development has improved the air flow, the dissipation of internal components and, simultaneously, increase the noise of the system.

The CP-850, as well as the full range CP, is only compatible with the latest high-performance PC chassis from Antec. The increase in high-performance hardware components has generated the need for high-wattage power supplies that can provide stability even when operating at full capacity. The constraints that characterize the traditional power supplies PS / 2, leading to increased costs for consumers and often a waste of energy.

The CP-850 is a unit of the power of 850 watts, which provides an innovative solution that balances size, cost and quality. The new form factor "CPX" of CP-850 can improve the layout of the circuit and increase the space between the components supporting the cooling air and creating a path that can take full advantage of the fan Pulse Width Modulation (PWM ) by 120 mm.

Complies with 80 PLUS ®, the CP-850 achieves a power efficiency greater than 80%. This model operates in an environmentally friendly, with universal input (Universal Input) and Active Power Factor Correction (Active Power Factor Correction). The safety circuit protects the operating system in a reliable manner from damage caused by short circuit, over voltage and over current. The CP-850 also features the Advanced Hybrid System Cable Management Cable Management, which improves the flow of air. For greater stability, the power supply has 4 +12 V output circuits, which spread the energy evenly throughout the system.
