Thread: Cougar S 550 Power supply

With the Cougar S 550 and S 700, the premium brand of HEC now two new modular power supply with 550 watts and 700 against. Even at first glance it is striking that the Cougar Network has screwed parts and the design on S 550 by the clearly smaller brother of CM 550 is different. The new model offers a two-color design from Orange / Metallic Black Case and roughened cover. The paint is not as shiny and a little more discreet than in the CM series. To this end it has grown well and now 18 cm long, is that 2 inches longer than the 550th CM

Both sides of the power supply with the Cougar logo and lettering provided, so that no matter how the power supply is installed, the logo on the case is always visible. The Cougar logo is found again as a very nice emblem on the fan grill of the PSU. The sticker with the technical data is moved to the top.



Like the CM 550 also offers the S 550 other nice details such as the green-lit on-off switch, or the black anodized fan grill with countersunk screws. Especially nice are the orange, black and white striped wire of the power supply, power supply, a sporty, cool looks give. The cables are again nice tie in together with Velcro. All four of these cable ties are included. They can be wonderful in the PC use to the orderly running cables. Otherwise, the package includes bolts, all necessary cables, quick start guide and a Cougar emblem to stick on.
