Sirtec HPC 360W
In our last silent PSU, left in the Special Circuit Protection 340W predecessor already enabled a very positive impression and failed just short of the 30 dB (A) Silent brand no other power supply in this price range the Sirtec / Chieftec model could in terms of stability and sound operation so far unbeatable. As an improvement we noticed only the simple OEM look and the relatively poor performance - due to the small air vents reason enough for us to hunt again with more cheaper successor model of the test course. Also this time surprised us with a top candidate and put on strong, whether it is successful this time Sirtec get below the magic 30 dB Silent mark and advance to the top candidates can now be read below.

From a purely external, has been touched up exactly at the points of the layout to the more powerful successor, the 340W model which we criticized previously instead of 08/15 fan is now a gold-colored on the inside fan guard shift. The use of gold-colored screws - on the cover and the fan - highlight the most significant appearance at the same time, the power increase from 340W to 360W, and thus offers a raised on so-called combined power 200W.
The ventilation slots on the back of the power supply is now clear air permeable and contribute to a better cooling system and power supply for themselves the lid and sides of the sheet metal chassis are also small vents, which are used for better ventilation of the passive PFC choke.
Even the interior looks very clean and tidy impression processed the lush heatsink fan is stored centrally and is not optimized in the cooling air flow. In total, the user can adequately sized access lines for big tower case available: 1 x ATX, 1 x 12V P4, 6 x 4-pin (HDD CD Rom), 2 x floppy, 1 x tacho, 1 x additional dual- motherboard connector secondary power.
