Thread: High Yield and 'Budget' Cartridges

Printer manufactueres obviously don't want users to go for aftermarket car¬tridges and refills. But users, especially in cost conscious markets like India would not think twice about a refill that would only cost a quarter (or less) of the cost of a new cartridge. To offer a lower cost of printing, manufactuers now offer a budget cartridge that they claim is good enough for everyday printing. These cost lesser than notmal cartridges. Another way of going the OEM way and still keep cost low (compared to normal cartridges) and quality high is to opt for high yield cartridges that most manufactuers offer. These offer lower cost per page.
