If you 're having trouble with a printer, Windows can point you in the right direction. First right-click the printer, choose Properties then select Print Test Page - this will attempt to print a standard Windows test. If that doesn't work, in Windows XP select the printer and look in the blue pane on the left of the Printers and Faxes window: a link will appear to the manufacturer's website where you should find further support. In Vista the same link will appear in the turquoise bar above the printers; you may have to click the arrows on the right-hand end of the bar to show it.
