Install a printer attached to another computer on the network is a fairly easy and quick to do in Windows Vista.
This time it is to connect a printer installed on a computer (in this case with Windows XP, but if you have installed Windows Vista is exactly the same) in another computer that has Windows Vista installed.
In the picture below we can see the Printers and Faxes window, Windows XP, we see the printer you are going to install in another computer and shared.
Well, let's see the operations to perform on the computer you want to install this printer.
First we are going to Start -> Control Panel and within the printer.
Within Printer at the top we see an Add button that puts a printer. We click on that button to go to the next window.
This window asks what type of printer we're going to install. Choose the option Install a network printer, Bluetooth wireless and we double-click that option or double click Next.
In the next window will show all the detected printers on the network (in this case the one installed on this computer installed in more Assistant, which is what we want to install). The announcement of the selected printer is not ready is because it is not connected.
The next window you see is what tells us that connecting the printer chosen.
The next window shows you need to install the drivers for that printer and asked permission (the drivers always need administrator permissions to install). To install them we click on Install, which will show us the authorization window. Licensed and continue.
Once installed, the next window that shows us the name of the printer installed and if it is our default printer (these data can be changed later if we want, since the printer properties).
The next window asks if you want to print a test page. You may want to print to verify that the printer is working correctly. Once printed the test page we click Finish, and have already installed and ready to use the printer.
In the next image we see the new printer installed.
Well, as you have seen is a very easy process, which takes far less time to read this tutorial. I hope this will be helpful.
