This is the colour scheme used in printing technology. The name is derived from the four constituents of the scheme-eyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black. Colour inkjet printers have reservoirs for each of the colours. Some photo printers also carry additional colours like red, green, light cyan and light magenta to offer better colour fidelity.
