Need a good color printer and color scanner separately.

More information about the printer: what are the challenges for the home or office, personal requirements?

For the home, print color photos and text, if possible with a card reader.

HP is a PhotoSmart D5463 (A4, 600/9600 dpi, 64Mb, LCD, HP, Card Reader, CD / DVD Print, USB 2.0) either as an option.

Epson Stylus Photo R290 (A4, 5760 dpi, 37 ppm/38, CD / DVD print, USB 2.0, Ink) display with a 390 - and purely subjective, I prefer HP.

If it is dark or black then you will enjoy Epson Stylus Photo R295 (A4, 5760 dpi/ CD / DVD print, USB 2.0, Ink). It has separate cartridges. The company has been portrayed as an advantage in print quality and cost.

Epson R390 has a sense if you intend to take to print photos without a computer, direct from a memory card or, it has and LCD screen for viewing. If the printer is connected to the company, it might make more sense to take the R290/R295 - is the same model, but without the sometimes unnecessary.
